The Thrift Shop operates year-round to serve the Fort Jackson community. Consignments are accepted until 12:30 p.m. The Thrift Shop accepts and sells consignment items with 25 percent of the sale price going to support community welfare projects. The help of volunteers is always welcome.
CONSIGNMENTS ARE ACCEPTED ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY FROM 9:00 - 12:30 p.m. and on the first Saturday by appointment only. Fifteen items per day may be consigned, of which eight items may be seasonal clothing. No clothing is accepted for consignment on the last two business days of the month. Furniture is accepted on a space available basis. Please call ahead for large items. Donations are accepted anytime and may be left at the rear of the building near the door.
WELFARE DONATIONS: The Thrift Shop is currently accepting requests for welfare donations. Please download the Welfare Request Form and mail it to the Fort Jackson Thrift Shop. All requests must be submitted on the form with the supporting documents. Please include the following: reason for need/welfare; organization that is requesting the donation with a point of contact; phone number and address; a description of how the donation will be used; and how your organization serves the greater Fort Jackson community.
