The Directorate of Public
Works provides logistical and engineering support including contingency
plans, laundry, food service program, consolidated installation property
book, supplies and service, maintenance of material and equipment, movement
of material and personnel to the installation and satellite activities,
planning and executing the engineering functions and real property
maintenance, fire prevention and protection, and environmental and natural
resources management. The directorate also designs and supervises matters
pertaining to master plans, operation, and maintenance, and is responsible
for 1,260 units of family housing. The directorate plays a vital role in the
installation’s energy conservation program. DLE is located at 2600 Lee
