to build family strengths. Some of these programs are as follows: Baby Care
Workshops; Hospital Orientation Tours; and free “Baby Bundles”
for new parents. Parenting Classes, Stress/Anger Management Seminars; Domestic
Violence Education; Victim Advocacy & Crisis Management Services; Home
Visits; Resource library and referrals.

The ACS Relocation
& Referral program offers a wide variety of programs designed
to assist soldiers and families when making PCS moves. Information
on Ft. Jackson and Columbia and other installations is available through

and directly by phone or email with Tom Askey, the program manager.
ACS Loan Closet services are available to permanently assigned, PCSing
soldiers and families.

Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is a mandatory enrollment program
that works with other military and civilian agencies to provide comprehensive
and coordinated medical, educational, housing, community support and personal
services to families with special needs. Upon in processing to Fort Jackson
the EFMP Coordinator will access your needs and provide you with appropriate
information on services, to include schools, and make referrals to installation
and off post community services.
Exceptional Family Member Program
EFMP Support Group meets the 4th Thursday of each month to offer support
to special needs families. For more information contact the EFMP Manager.
