Army Family Team Building (AFTB)
“Family Members Helping Family Members”

The purpose of AFTB is to standardize all Army personal and Family Preparedness training programs. AFTB is training for a way of life that prepares everyone in America’s Army to function at one’s highest level, in any situation, with minimal outside support. This training improves personal and family preparedness, which enhances overall Army readiness.

AFTB is a volunteer program that trains volunteer family members to teach other family members about Army life. AFTB …IT’S NOT A PROGRAM: IT’S A WAY OF LIFE

Reimbursement for child care provided by Hood Street Hourly Child Development Center, a Family Child Care Provider or a certified Red Cross babysitter is available for AFTB volunteer instructors and AFTB students.

“Together Everyone Achieves More”
