Community Relations

Regulatory Guidelines:

** Army participation must not selectively benefit any person, group, or corporation, whether profit or nonprofit.

** Army resources or services will not be provided in competition with resources and services commercially available (for rent or sale) in civilian domain.

Group Tours of Fort Jackson:

* Monday through Friday only

* No tours on weekends, military paydays, Federal holidays

* no cost; military bus to conduct tour, if available

* one military escort provided per bus

* no on-post lodging available for groups

* each tour customized based on desired length of visit, and availability of resources

Requests must be received no later than 60 days prior to the requested tour date.  While we don't offer escorted post tours for schools or individual classes of children younger than the sixth grade,  schools may make special arrangements to tour the Post Museum by calling 751-7419, or the Recycling Center   by calling 751-4208.
