CPT Matthew Rix

CPT Matthew Rix was born and raised in Michigan. CPT Rix received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy on 26 May 2007 and received his commissioned that same day as an Air Defense Artillery Officer. He is a graduate of the Basic Officer Leader Course and the Air Defense Officer Basic Course.

CPT Rix’s past assignments include FT Bliss, Texas where he served as Launcher Platoon Leader and Force Protection Platoon Leader in Delta Battery, 5-52 ADA BN. He deployed his platoon with Delta Battery to Bahrain in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) on 15 October 2009.

CPT Rix’s Army awards include the Army Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Overseas Service Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Air Assault Badge.

CPT Rix has been married for two years.

1SG Vincent Davis entered the Army February 1989. He attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, GA; graduating as an Infantry Rifleman in June 1989.

1SG Davis assignments include: currently serving in Delta Company 1/61 IN, Fort Jackson, SC as the First Sergeant; from February 09-May 10 assigned to 2nd Division Federal Police Transition Team(Team Justice), Baghdad, Iraq as Transition Team NCOIC; from October 04-January 09 assigned as Team NCOIC of a Observer Controller / Trainer Team 1/310th IN(Remagen) at Fort Bragg, NC; from February 01-October 04 served as a Platoon Sergeant in Delta Company (Anti-Armor) 1/502D IN(First Strike), Fort Campbell, KY deploying to OIF I in 2003; from August 98-January 01 assigned as a Instructor for Hand Grenades in the United States Field Artillery Training Center (USAFATC) at Fort Sill, OK; from July 95-July 98 assigned as a Squad Leader in Alpha Company 1/17th IN(Buffalos), Fort Wainwright, AK; from January 93-June 95 assigned as Team Leader and Squad Leader Bravo Company 1/502D IN(First Strike), Fort Campbell, KY; from June 89-December 92 assigned as an Infantryman in Alpha Company 4/9th IN(Manchu), Fort Wainwright, AK. 1SG Davis held all positions in the Infantry branch from rifleman to 1SG. He is currently serving as the First Sergeant of Bravo Company 1/61 IN.

1SG Davis is a graduate of various Army courses to include: WLC, ALC, SLC courses, Air Assault School, Combat Lifesaver Course (CLS), EO Leaders Course, Mobile Retention Training Course, Basic Instructor Training Course, Strategic Deployment/Unit Movement Planner Course, Pathfinder School, Transportation/Storage Hazmat Course, Safety Officer/NCO Course, and Military Transition Team School.
