Captain Tanya Buckley received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of South Florida where she received her commission on 7 May 2005.
CPT Buckley's military courses include Chemical Officer Basic Course, Chemical Captains Career Course, HAZMAT Incident Responders Course, and Technical Escort Course.
CPT Buckley's first assignment was to the 92nd Chemical Company at Fort Stewart, Georgia where she served as a Heavy Decontamination Platoon Leader and the Company Executive Officer. During this time she was deployed to Kuwait in direct support of Area Support Group-Kuwait providing CBRN contingency operations for Kuwait and for the Middle East.
After attending the Chemical Captains Career Course and obtaining her Masters Degree in Environmental Management she became the Company Commander of B/3-60th where she currently presides.

Hood, TX, D Co 2/9 INF, 2 ID, Korea, C Co 2/29 INF, Ft. Benning, GA, 1 Bde, 25th ID, and F Co 2/2 SCR. 1SG is currently assigned to Ft. Jackson, SC, as the First Sergeant of B Co 3/60 INF “River Raiders”.
