CPT Michelle S. Roberts
1LT Roberts

Captain Michelle S. Roberts began her service with the United States Army when she enlisted August 1, 2001. She attended BCT at Fort Sill, OK and attended AIT at Fort Lee, VA. She received her Commission in the South Carolina Army National Guard as a Military Intelligence Officer in 2005, from the Army ROTC Southern Guards BN of Wofford College. CPT Roberts received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education from Erskine College and a Masters Degree in Education from Converse College.

CPT Roberts deployed in 2007 with the 218th BCT and served a year as the J2 Battle Captain based in Camp Phoenix, Kabul, AFGN. She completed a second tour in AFGN in 2008, as a US embedded training team mentor to the Afghan National Army. When she returned to the United States, CPT Roberts hiked the Appalachian Trail, Georgia to Maine, and then accepted a position under Operation Warrior Trainer to train and validate deploying units before taking Command of Foxtrot Company in July 2010. CPT Roberts recently completed the Rock and Roll Seattle Marathon and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.

CPT Roberts’ awards and decorations include the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge- Gold Level, Afghan Campaign Medal, Joint Forces Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters, Army Achievement Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal with M device, National Defense Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, International Security Assistance Force Ribbon, NATO Ribbon, SC Palmetto Service Ribbon, Military Outstanding Volunteer Ribbon, South Carolina Mobilization Ribbon, and the French Military Campaign Decoration.

1SG Hernandez

First Sergeant Hernandez began his service with the United States Army when he enlisted on October 15, 1990, and reported to Ft Benning, GA for Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training as an 11B. 1SG Hernandez’s assignments include C CO 3/327 at Fort Campbell, B CO 1/27 Wolfhounds at Schofield Barracks, the San Antonio US Army Recruiting Battalion, C CO 1-504 PIR at Fort Bragg, D CO 1-503 at Camp Casey, B CO 1-6 1st AD, and now as the First Sergeant for Foxtrot 2/60th. First Sergeant Hernandez has deployed numerous times to Kazakhstan, Iraq, Japan, Thailand, and Panama.

1SG Hernandez is married to the former Irma S. Salmeron for 23 years. He has two sons that he is very proud of. His oldest son is attending Methodist University on a full ROTC scholarship and will commission in December. His youngest son attends St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.

1LT Sherry T. Bobbett
1LT Bobbett

First Lieutenant Sherry T. Bobbett began her service with the United States Army when she enlisted in 2004, and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC. She received her commission at US Army Officer Candidate School at Ft. Benning, GA as a Finance Officer in 2009. 1LT Bobbett received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Accounting from Mississippi State University . She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Penn State University.

1LT Bobbett’s assignments include Vicenza, Italy, 106th (formerly known as 208th) FMCo where she served as Financial Analyst, Disbursing Agent, and Debt Management Analyst. She also served at the Training Support Battalion here Ft. Jackson, SC as Operations Actions Officer. 1LT Bobbett became the Company Executive Officer of Foxtrot Company , 2nd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment in March 2011. Her husband also serves in the US Army and she has two children.
