Captain Travis T. Hall is from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He enlisted in the Alabama Army National Guard in August 1991as a Manpads Crewman (16S) and later reclassed in July 1992 as a Medical Supply Specialist (76J) on Active Duty. CPT Hall was stationed in such places as Fort Riley, Kansas, Fort Rucker, Alabama, Yongsan, South Korea, Fort Hood, Texas, Fort Drum, New York, Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, Fort Lewis, Washington.
CPT Hall earned his commission through Troy State University ROTC in Troy, Alabama. He received a Bachelors Degree in Business with a minor in Military Science from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama. CPT Hall has a Masters Degree in Business Administration, An Associate Degree in General Studies from Barton County Community College in Great Bend, Kansas.

CPT Hall has deployed two times in support of (OIF) Operation Iraqi Freedom. CPT Hall volunteered in 2009 to deploy with the 201st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade from Fort Lewis, Washington. While deployed he served as the Brigade Chemical Officer and Brigade LNO. CPT Hall deployed with 2-15th Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Drum, NY. While deployed he served as the Battalion Chemical Officer and Summary Court Martial Officer.
