CPT Stephen Hummel is a Chemical Corps officer who has served in multiple leadership and staff positions. CPT Hummel enlisted in the United States Army and completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant from United States Army Officer Candidate School, Fort Benning, Georgia. CPT Hummel is also a 2010 graduate of the CBRN Captain’s Career Course, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. CPT Hummel is a veteran of multiple combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

His Awards and decorations include: The Army Commendation Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the National Defense Service Medal, The Afghanistan and Iraq War Campaign Medals. The Global War on Terror Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbons with three oak clusters, and the NATO Medal (ISAF).
