The Family Readiness Center (FRC) is here to assist Soldiers and Families. There are resources for you to pick up and browse, a copier for FRG usage, a computer lab-complete with printer and fax machine, and two conference rooms. All of these are avaliable for your use. Stop in and request more information on how to check these items out for you Family Readiness Groups.
The FRC houses three ACS programs. They are the Army Volunteer Coordinator, Deployment and Mobilization/FRG, and Army Family Team Building (AFTB)/ Army Family Action Plan (AFAP). Many of the ACS classes are held here in this building, which is a great benefit to you because the building is close, convenient, and easy to find, and the classes are FREE.
Many FRGs are hosting their monthly meetings in our large classroom. There is a childcare room, which is a STACC site, meaning the Child and Youth Services program will provide the manpower during your monthly meeting at this site. Please call for further details on how to use this benefit.

Please view the Community Calendar at for FMWR and ACS calendar of events.

Need FRG Leader or other online Family Readiness training? Go to Army One Source.
Family Readiness Groups (FRGs) provide the critical link between units, Soldiers, and Families. These sites are provided for the Family and friends of the Soldiers and civilians (permanent party) assigned to Fort Jackson area.
If your Soldier is in BCT or AIT for training, go to the top right of this page and select the appropriate site. However, if you are curious about what FRGs are and what they do, feel free to explore this site and think about how you may want to participate in your Soldier's FRG at his or her first unit of assignment.
NOTE
We have recently converted our entire website management system and are in the process of migrating our various websites over to this new system. You will see more content as we complete conversions.

New! The Army is committed to a prevention model for the entire force, enhancing Soldiers resilience and coping skills. This model consists of life-long learning that begins by providing individual assessment through the Global Assessment Tool. The Global Assessment Tool (GAT), as part of the Comprehensive Soldier Fitness program, provides a person with a baseline in the four dimensions of strength: emotional, social, spiritual and family; and provides an opportunity to track self-development and growth in these areas over time. This Global Assessment Tool is now available for families. Please see the below link on how to access the assessment Tool.
