The U.S. Army BCT Museum has a very limited sampling of cycle books from Fort Jackson that patrons to the museum have donated over the years. Unfortunately, since so many Soldiers graduate from Fort Jackson every year, a complete collection of Fort Jackson cycle books does not exist. We recommend looking on eBay for books on sale or acquiring a copy of your cycle book from a fellow trainee.

The National Archives and Records Administration web site is a good place to start: http://www.archives.gov/veterans/

WWII enlistment records can be found at: http://aad.archives.gov/aad/fielded-search.jsp?dt=893&tf=F&cat=WR26&bc=sl

A helpful book is: How to Locate Anyone Who Is or Has Been in the Military: Armed Forces Locator Guide (How to Locate Anyone Who Is Or Has Been in the Military) by Lt. Col. Richard S. Johnson
