We exist to help determine and execute the best training for Initial Military Training (IMT) Soldiers across the Army. We are part of the Initial Military Training Center of Excellence located at Fort Eustis, VA, operating on Fort Jackson.
We are a multi-discipline organization with experts across the training spectrum. We support the IMT Leadership School, US Army Physical Fitness School, US Army Master Resilience School, and the US Army Drill Sergeant School.
In addition, the Propoenency Integration and Development Division supports the training development of all the schools in addition to Basic Combat Training for the entire Army.
Our mission is to execute the best training and make decisions for the over 150,000 new Soldiers that enter the Army every year for the Active, Reserve, and National Guard components.
The Proponent Development and Integration Division (PDID) offers extensive knowledge and expertise to agencies in the areas of leadership, training, and command of soldiers in training; PDID develops course work for military personnel responsible for training Soldiers in the IET environment. The PDID also reviews, implements, and develops training plans, Programs of Instruction, Training Support Packages, and Lesson Plans for those training Initial Entry Soldiers and Drill Sergeants.
